CAMRIS International is seeking a Research Administrator to support the Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) in San Diego, CA. NHRC optimizes the operational health and readiness of our armed forces by conducting research and development to inform DOD policy and practice.
The individual selected for this position will perform a variety of duties to include office management, designing, facilitating and conducting tasker response. Other work will include analyzing data, developing administrative reports conducting correspondence in accordance with Navy Manuals and other format policies. The applicant must be detailed- and customer-service oriented. This position requires proficiency in the standard Microsoft Office suite of software programs; to include Power Point, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
a. BA or BS degree in Life Sciences or a related field.
b. Experience working in an administrative capacity.
c. Experience with the military or consulting in a DoD environment preferred.
d. Manage schedules, arrange meetings, maintain files, track deliverables, and support program management efforts.
e. Assist with and own Command level special projects.
f. Perform administrative duties in an office setting serving as a department administrative asset.
g. Design, facilitate and conduct tasker responses.
h. Analyze data, develop administrative reports and conduct correspondence.
i. Review, independently edit, format and synthesize various types of input (verbal, notes, emails, drafts) into a cohesive document or correspondence in accordance with the Navy Correspondence Manual, Official Navy Message Traffic, and other format policies, including military technical documents such as point papers, policies, and messages.
U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance is required.
