    CAMRIS is seeking a Program Manager to support business development efforts specifically targeting support services for US Army medical research commands and the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) in Silver Spring, Maryland.  The Program Manager would work directly with CAMRIS’s Director – Military Health and Research to recruit and respond to RFPs released by the US Army.  

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as the Army subject matter expert for the CAMRIS Health & Research division
    • Submit resume and letter of commitment for key personnel positions on proposals
    • Provide assistance with writing technical responses to proposals showing knowledge and understanding of the internal workings of the Army, WRAIR and scientific competencies
    • Network with professional contacts to assist will filling key personnel positions, specifically targeting incumbent staff
    • Participate in technical meetings for internal and external representatives concerning Army opportunities
    • Represent CAMRIS in meetings and conferences, as needed
    • Develop and sustain strategic relations with key customers, competitors, and teammates

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences or related field. Master’s or PhD preferred
    • 10 years of progressive experience working in an Army medical research command
    • Deep understanding of US Army Research Commands, specifically at WRAIR for Pilot BioProduction Facility (PBF) and Clinical Trials Support (CTC)
    • Extensive network of business contacts and established relationships within US Army Research Commands
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Must work well as part of a team, have a good work ethic, and strong communication skills
