    CAMRIS is seeking exceptional candidates for the Scientific Program Analyst positions. S/he will support the mission of The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and The National Institutes of Health (NIH) by conducting and supporting basic, translational and clinical research to better understand, treat, and ultimately prevent infectious, immunologic, and allergic diseases at the Rocky Mountain Laboratories in Hamilton, Montana.

    Responsibilities

      For Junior Level Roles, Duties Include:

    • Provides scientific experience needed to assist with researching and evaluating the operation of the organization’s scientific programs.

    • Assists with researching, interpreting and summarizing background materials from a variety of scientific sources.

    • Compiles data and creates/prepares graphs, slides and presentations.

    • Performs logistical planning of various scientific meetings, lectures, workshops, etc.

    • Attends meetings and prepares a summary of the meeting to distribute to attendees.

    For Mid-Level Roles, Duties Include:

    • Provides scientific experience needed to assist with researching and evaluating the operation of the organization’s scientific programs.

    • Analyze existing scientific programs and makes recommendations for improvement.

    • Assist with researching, interpreting and summarizing background materials from a variety of scientific sources.

    • Assist with developing/preparing various scientific reports.

    • Assist with developing and implementing new scientific programs to fulfill organizational scientific goals and objectives.

    • Research, interpret and summarize background materials from a variety of scientific sources.

    • Develop and prepare various scientific reports.

    • Comply data and creates/prepares graphs, slides and presentations.

    • Perform logistical planning of various scientific meetings, lectures, workshops, etc.

    • Attend meetings and prepares a summary of the meeting to distribute to attendees.

      For Senior Level Roles, Duties Include:

    • Provides scientific experience needed to plan, research and evaluate the operation of the organization’s scientific programs.

    • Analyzes existing scientific programs and makes recommendations for improvement.

    • Develops and implements new scientific programs to fulfill organizational scientific goals and objectives.

    • Assists with developing/ implementing new organizational goals and objectives.

    • Assists in developing strategic plan in order to expand existing scientific programs.

    • Researches, interprets, and summarizes background materials from a variety of scientific sources.

    • Coordinates various scientific programs and branch activities.

    • Develops/maintains clinical database.

    • Develops/prepares various scientific reports.

    • Compiles data and creates/prepares graphs, slides and presentations.

    • Performs logistical planning of various scientific meetings, lectures, workshops, etc.

    • Attends meetings and prepares a summary to distribute to attendees.

    Qualifications

    For Junior Roles: 

     

      Minimum Education:

    •  Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Life Sciences or other related discipline.

       Minimum Experience:

    • 1-5 years of experience in biology or other related field.
    • Demonstrates expertise with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).

     For Mid-Level Roles:

       

        Minimum Education:

    • Master’s degree in Biology, Life Sciences or other related discipline. Two (2) years of specialized experience plus a BA/BS degree is equivalent to a Master’s degree.

       Minimum Experience:

    • 5-15+ years of experience in biology or other related field.
    • Demonstrates expertise with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).

     For Senior Roles:

     

      Minimum Education:

    • Ph.D. in Biology, Life Sciences or other related discipline. Three (3) years of specialized experience plus a Master’s degree is equivalent to a Ph.D. Five (5) years of specialized experiences plus a Bachelor’s degree is equivalent to a Ph.D.

      Minimum Experience:

    • 15+ years of experience in biology or other related field.
    • Demonstrates expertise with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
