    CAMRIS International seeks a Total Exposure Health (TEH) Program Data Scientist who will provide analysis of Doctrine, Organizational, Training, Material, Leadership, Personnel, Facilities and Policies (DOTMLPF-P) associated with the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Air Force (AF). Specifically he or she will capture and analyze relevant data/information on current occupational and environmental health topics, governance, policies and laws to analyze DOTMLPF-p gaps in order to evolve and improve current practices for the Total Health Exposure mission.


    This position is based at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.


    • Help the Air Force Medical Service (AFMS) meet the program's business challenges.
    • Use technology to communicate data findings to DoD members, AF stakeholders, senior leaders, and TEH office managers.
    • Identifiy unique opportunities to collect new data in support of the Total Exposure Health Mission (TEHTM).
    • Extract data not just from one source, but from multiple sources in order to gain maximum insight that can give the DoD and the AFMS a competitive advantage
    • Strategize new uses for data and its interaction with data design in support of the program.
    • Locate new data sources, analyzes statistics and implements quality procedures.
    • Perform data studies of new and diverse data sources.
    • Find new uses for existing data sources.
    • Identify and capture statistical modeling data sources and experiment design.
    • Discover “stories” told by the data and presents them to other scientists and business managers in development of DOTMLPF-P analysis for TEH.
    • Conduct scalable data research on and off the cloud.
    • Train the data management team on new or updated procedures.



    • Masters preferred but Bachelors Degree required in statistics, physics, public health, epidemiology, data science, or engineering with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in data analytics and/or statistics
    • At least seven (7) years of Occupational and Environmental Health (OEH) related experience either in the military or Government related in analysis or AF Medical operations.
    • Capabilities to bridge the gap between data science and business management.
    • Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail. 
    • Exhibits strong critical thinking skills and the ability to relate them to the products or services the company is producing.
