CAMRIS seeks a Team Leader to lead the upcoming Final Performance Evaluation of the USAID/Jamaica Social enterprise Boost Initiative (SEBI). The purpose of this evaluation is to determine whether the SEBI activities achieved its objectives and gained lessons for implementation of ongoing future programs. The evaluation will identify implementation challenges, corrective actions to project management, and progress towards achieving expected results.

Responsibilities

The Team Leader will lead the evaluation effort from workplan development through design, data collection and analysis, briefings, and report writing. Specifically, s/he will:

  • Lead all communications and debriefs with USAID/Jamaica
  • Oversee all technical and operational aspects of the evaluation
  • Lead and manage all evaluation team members
  • Utilize the expertise of other team members throughout the evaluation

Qualifications

  • Advanced university degree (Master’s or above) in a social science, international development, or other related field
  • Demonstrated (through authored or co-authored written performance or impact evaluation reports) experience in the past five years undertaking field quantitative and/or qualitative data collection through interviews, surveys, or focus groups for either performance or impact evaluations
  • Experience leading an evaluation team during field work
  • Direct knowledge and experience working with USAID rules, evaluation policy, regulations, and procedures
  • Significant professional experience coordinating and leading teams
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical writing, and presentation skills
  • Fluency in English
