Overview

CAMRIS is currently accepting CVs for current and anticipated USAID funded long-term and short-term project positions in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E).  Projects will support USAID missions and partners in designing and implementing M&E activities as well as managing and communicating activity results.  Areas of focus may include the quality of project monitoring; enhancement of performance management and data management/reporting systems; completion of multi-faceted evaluations; dissemination of evaluation results; and the provision of M&E capacity building within the mission as well as local and regional development institutions, universities, and non-governmental organizations (NGO). 

 

CAMRIS is seeking Technical Specialists with M&E experience in the following areas:

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the Team Leader, Monitoring and Evaluation include:

  • Provide technical guidance and strategic support to the evaluation team.
  • Provide oversight and management of the evaluation team, delegating tasks as appropriate.
  • Lead the process of drafting and finalizing the evaluation study design, evaluation workplan, evaluation briefing(s) and the evaluation report.
  • Steer effective communication with the A/CORs, relevant USAID/Nepal and Implementing Partner staff as well as external stakeholders.
  • Ensure quality and timely delivery of all work products.

Qualifications

  • An advanced university degree in relevant technical field of specialty.
  • 5+ years of experience in international development, including the monitoring and evaluation of development projects. Areas of particular relevance include: indicator development, data collection and analysis, data quality assessments, and/or performance monitoring and reporting.
  • Must have field experience monitoring and evaluating international development projects in developing countries.
  • Familiarity with USAID policies related to evaluation and performance management highly desirable, including experience creating and managing USAID performance management plans.
  • Familiarity with data management and reporting is highly desirable.
