CAMRIS seeks an Epidemiology and Veterinary Services Advisor for an upcoming task order under the International Technical, Operation, and Professional Support Services (ITOPSS) IDIQ. The Epidemiology and Veterinary Services Advisor assists the CDC Influenza Division with implementation, monitoring, and oversight of influenza surveillance projects on the continent of Africa; serves as a regional provider of influenza- and veterinary-related technical assistance to ministries of health or their bona fide agents associated with the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) Region and, as needed, other nations served by the World Health Organization Regional Office for Africa (AFRO); and assists CDC-South Africa and the National Institute of Communicable Diseases in Johannesburg with projects, such as surveillance studies, outbreak investigation, and animal-human interface activities.
