The position is contingent on funding. 


CAMRIS is seeking Employee Relations Specialists (3) for the upcoming Scientific, Technical, and Other Professional Services (STOPS) project with NIH. This opportunity involves large-scale staff augmentation and management to support a variety of functions related to clinical, healthcare, scientific, engineering and information technology.


  • Maintain current understanding of State, Federal, and local legislation including standards from ERISA, OFCCP and OSHA.
  • Work with human resources staff to complete the hiring process for employees.
  • Actively search for qualified professionals on a variety of hiring platforms and networks and expand hiring networks for specific technical areas.
  • Review qualified applicant resumes, cover letters and writing samples and screen resumes and credentials in a consistent, objective manner for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
  • Adhere to equal opportunity/affirmative action guidelines, federal and state regulations and contract regulations in recruitment efforts.


  • Mid-level human resources specialist with four to six years of relevant experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.
  • Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) Certified.
  • Experience providing a high level of customer service, and exceeding target customer service standards.  
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Understanding of NIH preferred.
