CAMRIS seeks a Director of Finance and Administration to provide leadership for the USAID/Uganda Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Program.

 

The USAID/Uganda Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Program is a five-year activity expected to start in mid-2018. CAMRIS will help USAID/Uganda strengthen its performance and, to a lesser extent the performance of its Implementing Partners, in collaborating, learning and performing in order to fortify the impact and sustainability of USAID-supported contributions to Uganda’s development.  This position is contingent upon award.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the integrity and usefulness of Contractor financial systems
  • Ensure provision of timely, relevant, high quality services
  • Facilitate internal administrative operations
  • Ensure that CAMRIS meets USAID/Uganda programmatic, financial and other reporting requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field or A Certified Public or Chartered Accounting qualification.
  • A minimum of nine years of experience managing, in increasing roles of responsibility, finance,
  • Procurement, contracts management, construction, logistics and/or human resource related matters for international development activities of similar dollar value.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience;
  • Familiarity with USG financial reporting and compliance requirements
  • Experience in managing donor funded procurements and subcontracts/grants; and
  • Quality past performance references relevant to the position.
