    CAMRIS is seeking exceptional candidates to provide scientific, technical, and other professional support services to assist the National Institutes of Health (NIH-- which is comprised of the Office of the Director and 27 Institutes and Centers) in meeting its operational objectives.

    Responsibilities

    • Provides technical expertise in order to serve as the coordinator for technical development and management of all websites, web projects, etc.

    • Performs technical support for current, planned and future web products.

    • Researches and recommends new technologies.

    • Troubleshoots all website issues and problems.

    •  

      Develops/maintains key management tools such as Content Manager, Assignment Desk, etc.

    • Creates/maintains up-to-date documentation of web team activities and projects.

    • Tracks web team workload and assignments.

    • Creates agendas and leads web team meetings.

    • Consults with senior staff to develop policies and procedures.

    • Trains employees on new procedures.

    Qualifications

     

    • 7-9+ years of experience with code editors.

    • Three (3) years of experience with Windows Operating System and Microsoft Internet Information Server 6.0.

    • Demonstrates experience with podcasts, webcasts, RSS feeds and search engine optimization.

    • Demonstrates knowledge of web design usability principles and Section 508 accessibility requirements.

       

      Minimum Education:

       

      Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, IT Management, Computer Science or other related discipline.
