    CAMRIS is seeking exceptional candidates to provide scientific, technical, and other professional support services to assist the National Institutes of Health (NIH-- which is comprised of the Office of the Director and 27 Institutes and Centers) in meeting its operational objectives.


    • Provides technical expertise needed to prepare and write a variety of scientific articles, reports, brochures, etc.

    • Edits/formats existing reports/presentations.

    • Finalizes documents and prepares materials for publication.

    • Prepares, plans and coordinates complex research projects and provides progress reports.

    • Develops and directs the flow of new projects.

    • Collects, inputs and updates data in various databases, and generates standard reports.

    • Performs detailed analysis of data and coordinates with staff on writing technical reports, research papers, etc.

    • Prepares reports and presentations for meetings/lectures.

    • Translates complex scientific information into written products for the general public.

    • Prepares correspondence to administration.

    • Manages the administrative review of applications.


      May analyze usability of materials developed for the general public. 



    • 5-11+ years of experience in related scientific field.

    • Demonstrates strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.

    • Demonstrates experience in writing scientific manuscripts and reviews.

    • Demonstrates ability to communicate basic scientific ideas to the general public.

    • Demonstrates experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).


      Minimum Education:


      Ph.D. in a related scientific discipline. Three (3) years of specialized experience plus a Master’s degree is equivalent to a Ph.D. Five (5) years of specialized experience plus a Bachelor’s degree is equivalent to a Ph.D.
