CAMRIS is seeking exceptional candidates to provide scientific, technical, and other professional support services to assist the National Institutes of Health (NIH-- which is comprised of the Office of the Director and 27 Institutes and Centers) in meeting its operational objectives.
Assists in performing experimental investigations and similar research projects utilizing extensive applications of mathematical and statistical methodologies.
Develops original computer code and programs for the application of new mathematical and statistical theories for the solution of proposed problems related to various scientific studies.
Utilizes statistical software packages to manage, maintain and analyze large, complex statistical databases.
Enters/ verifies data fields and data dictionaries.
Performs descriptive and missing data analyses.
Applies a variety of data reduction techniques.
Collects and analyzes mathematical data.
2-4+ years of experience in a related field.
Computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite.
Expertise with Matlab.
Knowledge of mathematical and statistical theory and its application to many scientific fields.
Experience with SAS, SPSS and other statistical software packages.
Bachelor’s degree in a science related field. Four (4) years of specialized experience plus a High School diploma is equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.
