CAMRIS is seeking exceptional candidates to provide scientific, technical, and other professional support services to assist the National Institutes of Health (NIH-- which is comprised of the Office of the Director and 27 Institutes and Centers) in meeting its operational objectives.
Coordinates, plans and develops programs to meet the social and emotional needs of patients and patients’ families.
Screens patients for protocol/clinical trial participation.
Administers, scores and inter- prets clinical interviews and assessments.
Documents assessments in medical records.Conducts interviews with subjects and their families.
Coordinates patient and family care with clinical center staff.
Participates in research group meetings and makes recommendations in the decision making process regarding inclusion in studies and diagnosis.
2-3+ years experience as a social worker.
Experience in a clinical research setting with protocols and clinical trials.
Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
Ph.D. in Social Work. Certification as a licensed social worker. Three
years of specialized experience plus a Master’s degree is equivalent to a Ph.D. Five (5) years of specialized experience plus a Bachelor’s degree is equivalent to a Ph.D.
