    CAMRIS is seeking exceptional candidates to provide scientific, technical, and other professional support services to assist the National Institutes of Health (NIH-- which is comprised of the Office of the Director and 27 Institutes and Centers) in meeting its operational objectives.


    • Coordinates, plans and develops programs to meet the social and emotional needs of patients and patients’ families.

    • Screens patients for protocol/clinical trial participation.

    • Administers, scores and inter- prets clinical interviews and assessments.

    • Documents assessments in medical records.Conducts interviews with subjects and their families.

    • Coordinates patient and family care with clinical center staff.

    • Participates in research group meetings and makes recommendations in the decision making process regarding inclusion in studies and diagnosis.



    • 2-3+ years experience as a social worker.

    • Experience in a clinical research setting with protocols and clinical trials.

    • Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.


    Minimum Education:


    Ph.D. in Social Work. Certification as a licensed social worker. Three

    years of specialized experience plus a Master’s degree is equivalent to a Ph.D. Five (5) years of specialized experience plus a Bachelor’s degree is equivalent to a Ph.D.
