CAMRIS is seeking exceptional candidates to provide scientific, technical, and other professional support services to assist the National Institutes of Health (NIH-- which is comprised of the Office of the Director and 27 Institutes and Centers) in meeting its operational objectives.
Provides technical expertise needed to independently analyze scientific research projects to ensure they fulfill the organization’s overall goals and objectives.
Evaluates ongoing scientific research projects and strategies and makes suggestions for improvement.
Coordinates research collection and advises staff on any issues/ problems.
Collaborates with staff and formulates research goals and strategies.
Prepares various detailed reports and analyses of data.
Designs and implements complex scientific research projects and strategies.
Coordinates with staff and leaders in order to communicate research progress and results.
Designs and implements educational programs.
Trains staff on proper research methods and strategies.
Performs complex research of various forms of scientific literature and prepares scientific reviews and data summaries.
1-2+ years of experience in biology or a related scientific field.
Demonstrates expertise with advanced research methods and strategies.
Demonstrates experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
Master’s degree in Biology, Life Sciences or a related discipline. Two
