CAMRIS is seeking exceptional candidates to provide scientific, technical, and other professional support services to assist the National Institutes of Health (NIH-- which is comprised of the Office of the Director and 27 Institutes and Centers) in meeting its operational objectives.
Provides scientific experience needed to plan, research and evaluate the operation of the organization’s scientific programs.
Analyzes existing scientific programs and makes recommendations for improvement.
Assists with developing and implementing new scientific programs in order to fulfill organizational goals and objectives.
Researches, interprets and summarizes background materials from a variety of scientific sources.
Develops/prepares various scientific reports.
Compiles data and creates/prepares graphs, slides and presentations.
Performs logistical planning of various scientific meetings, lectures, workshops, etc.
Attends meetings and prepares a summary to distribute to attendees.
1-5 years of experience in biology or other related field.
Demonstrates expertise with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Life Sciences or other related discipline.
