    CAMRIS is seeking exceptional candidates to provide scientific, technical, and other professional support services to assist the National Institutes of Health (NIH-- which is comprised of the Office of the Director and 27 Institutes and Centers) in meeting its operational objectives.


    • Independently conducts biological research in order to fulfill the overall objectives of the lab, utilizing the internet and various other scientific literatures.

    • Collaborates with staff and formulates laboratory research goals.

    • Independently develops/maintains research protocols and new analytical methods.

    • Performs database searches.

    • Selects the appropriate methods and procedures to meet experimental objective.

    • Independently performs complex procedures/experiments in conjunction with laboratory research.


      Analyzes and interprets experimental results.

    • Maintains results and produces various detailed reports for use by upper-management.

    • Provides training to other laboratory personnel. 


    • 2-5+ years of experience in biology or other related field.

    • Demonstrates strong research experience.

    • Demonstrates knowledge of basic scientific principles, concepts and theories.


      Minimum Education:


      Master’s degree in Biology, Life Sciences or other related discipline. Two (2) years of specialized experience plus a BA/BS degree is equivalent to a Master’s degree.
