CAMRIS is seeking exceptional candidates to provide scientific, technical, and other professional support services to assist the National Institutes of Health (NIH-- which is comprised of the Office of the Director and 27 Institutes and Centers) in meeting its operational objectives.
Provides editorial assistance to upper level staff with a variety of documents including scientific papers, reports, correspondence, external communications and proposal summaries.
Utilizes an electronic tracking system to log in, issue, and track project related items.
Collects, maintains, and updates pertinent files and electronic records necessary to operational management and organizational continuity of assigned projects.
Responds to routine and non- technical requests for information and documents available from office files, records, and spreadsheets.
Requests articles electronically for staff through NIH Library services.
Prepares scientific manuscripts, abstracts and other related documents, adhering to the format requirements of professional journals.
1-2 years experience in a related field.
Computer skills to include MS Office Suite.
Proficiency in proofreading and editing.
Associates or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
