CAMRIS is currently seeking a Senior Recruiting Specialist for the anticipated Sustaining Technical and Analytic Resources (STAR) cooperative agreement with the U.S. Agency for International Development. The goal of the STAR program is to improve the effectiveness of global health programs worldwide by developing and strengthening the capacity of global health professionals. The primary focus of the STAR program is strengthen the technical and analytic professional cadre of human resources for global health by partnering with organizations of higher learning, development, and/or health professional associations.


  • Develop efficient, rapid recruiting techniques in collaboration with USAID client points of contact.
  • Develop relationships with academic institutions, health organizations, and non-traditional organizational to source, screen, interview, and identify top talent.
  • Administer and analyze quantitative and qualitative evaluation data related to recruiting systems and processes.
  • Review qualified applicant resumes, cover letters and writing samples to prepare shortlists of candidates for client selection committee review.
  • Collaborate with the Diversity and Outreach Manager to ensure recruitment efforts reach individuals who represent diverse interests and backgrounds. 


  • Master’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of eight years of related work experience.
  • A minimum of three years recruiting for global health projects.
  • Ability to work effectively both individually and as a member of a team. Must be able to plan, organize, and use time effectively. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong cross-cultural and interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Well-versed in USAID regulations, policies, and procedures.
