CAMRIS is seeking exceptional candidates to provide scientific, technical, and other professional support services to assist the National Institutes of Health (NIH-- which is comprised of the Office of the Director and 27 Institutes and Centers) in meeting its operational objectives.

CAMRIS is seeking exceptional candidates to provide scientific, technical, and other professional support services to assist the National Institutes of Health (NIH-- which is comprised of the Office of the Director and 27 Institutes and Centers) in meeting its operational objectives.

Responsibilities

Provides laboratory experience needed to perform various chemical experiments and procedures. Utilizes/operates various complex laboratory machines and equipment. Prepares reagents and oversees necessary laboratory supplies. Documents/ analyzes results and produces detailed summaries and reports. Analyzes organic and inorganic compounds to determine chemical and physical properties, composition, structure, relationships between compounds, and reactions. Adds heat, light, energy, or a catalyst to show changes in composition.

Qualifications

1-4 years of experience in chemistry or a related field. Demonstrates experience working in a clinical or research laboratory. Demonstrates knowledge of principles and operating procedures of general laboratory equipment.

 

Minimum Education:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related discipline.
