CAMRIS is seeking exceptional candidates to provide scientific, technical, and other professional support services to assist the National Institutes of Health (NIH-- which is comprised of the Office of the Director and 27 Institutes and Centers) in meeting its operational objectives.

Responsibilities

Provides technical expertise in order to select, evaluate and implement architectural procedures and techniques on various projects. Produces and prepares construction documents for and with contractors and vendors. Conducts site visits to inspect the structure. Consults with clients to determine functional and spatial requirements of new structure. Prepares information regarding design, specifications, materials, estimated costs and construction time. Monitors project budgets. Provides Computer Assisted Design (CAD) services.

  

For Sr roles:

Responsible for final specifications, approval and overall guidance on objectives and concepts. Produces and prepares construction documents for and with contractors and vendors.

Conducts site visits to inspect the structure. Consults with clients to determine functional and spatial requirements of new structure.

Prepares information regarding design, specifications, materials, estimated costs and construction time. Monitors project budgets. Provides Computer Assisted Design (CAD) services. May act as team lead on various projects.

 

Qualifications

3-6+ years of experience in architect or a related field.

Demonstrates expertise with a variety of field concepts, practices and procedures.

Demonstrates knowledge of CAD, Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator.

Demonstrates a wide degree of creativity.

 

Minimum Education:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Architect or a related discipline.
