CAMRIS is currently seeking a Financial Management Specialist for the upcoming Support That Augments Rapid Transitions (START) IQC with USAID’s Office of Transition Initiatives. The purpose of the contract is to provide fast, flexible programming and logistical support targeted at key political transition and stabilization needs.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the financial management and systems necessary for the management of the task order. 
  • Plan, setup, and manage project financial management systems as needed. 
  • Establish local financial accounts as needed. 
  • Ensure that all procurement and financial management systems meet USG regulations. 
  • Oversee general accounting functions including accounts payables and payroll, banking, accounts receivables and tax liabilities.
  • Advise staff on financial policies and procedures. 
  • Provide analysis and oversight of ongoing project financial transactions.
  • Prepare analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Develop donor and management reports.

Qualifications

  • An advanced degree in business administration, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • At least seven years of previous experience providing financial, administrative, and grants management oversight for international development organizations.
  • Experience in financial management of development programs.
  • Experience working in developing countries.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
