CAMRIS is currently seeking an Office Manager/Administrative Specialist to provide support to USAID’s Office of Transition Initiatives (OTI). The objective of the upcoming indefinite quantity contract (IQC) is to provide OTI with the means to support U.S. foreign policy objectives by helping local partners advance peace and democracy in priority countries in transition.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the day-to-day program office operations to include petty cash and payment of rents, utilities and other operational invoices. 
  • Purchases furniture and equipment and establishes and maintains records to track administrative records and non-expendable property and arranges for (in-country and international travel) of OTI staff and contractors.
  • Supervise the maintenance of office equipment, including copier, fax machine, and so on.
  • Edit and format documents/reports in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Organizes and maintains paper and electronic files.
  • Participates as needed in special projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • Three years’ experience managing an office and accomplishing a wide range of administrative responsibilities to include records management, budget management, petty cash, files management, travel arrangements and tracking of non­ expendable property.
  • Familiarity with USAID policies, procedures and the ADS is highly desired.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and team-playing skills.
  • Strong cross-cultural and interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
