CAMRIS is currently seeking a Grant Specialist to provide support to USAID’s Office of Transition Initiatives (OTI). The objective of the upcoming Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) is to provide OTI with the means to support U.S. foreign policy objectives by helping local partners advance peace and democracy in priority countries in transition.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the grant-making and grant management process.
  • Advise and assist the Project Development Officers in the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the small grants and short-term technical assistance provided under Task Orders. 
  • Be responsible for the maintenance of grants management policies, procedures and practices. 
  • Assist the Project Development Officers in following up on the implementation (finance and procurement) of activities once they are approved.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience in activity management, including following through to assure that procurement, finance, logistics, and programmatic aspects of activities are implemented on time and in accordance with the specifications of the approved activity.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and team-playing skills.
  • Strong cross-cultural and interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
