CAMRIS is currently seeking Mid-level Outreach Specialists for an upcoming indefinite quantity contract (IQC). The purpose of the contract is to provide the Office of Transition Initiatives (OTI) with the means to support U.S. foreign policy objectives via targeted, short-term technical assistance in priority countries experiencing recent transition, instability, or crisis. Work will take place on the ground and in Washington, DC.


  • Experience in and develops integrated communications strategies and plans designed to meet a range of stakeholders.
  • Develops new and improves existing strategic communications products such as: policy documents; online audio/visual products; social media applications; briefing materials; and press releases. 
  • Provides consulting and training services to HQ and field staff in strategic communication techniques. 
  • Ensures that all outreach products meet USG regulations and standards.


  • Experience with and is familiar with all relevant USG regulations and standards.
  • Five years or more of experience formulating, implementing, and managing communication and outreach strategies and activities in international assistance.
  • Experience in developing integrated communications strategies.
  • Advanced interpersonal skills, including experience successfully interacting with host government officials, civil society partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and team-playing skills.
