CAMRIS is currently seeking Mid-level Knowledge Management Specialists for an upcoming indefinite quantity contract (IQC). The purpose of the contract is to provide the Office of Transition Initiatives (OTI) with the means to support U.S. foreign policy objectives via targeted, short-term technical assistance in priority countries experiencing recent transition, instability, or crisis. Work will take place on the ground and in Washington, DC.


  • Creates, updates, administers and maintains customized knowledge management systems.
  • Develops instructional tools for new technology products for new users. 
  • Researches and recommends equipment and software purchases for project needs. Trains staff on the use of equipment and programs as needed. 
  • Serve as a resource for future technology planning. 
  • Ensures that all IT and knowledge management systems and products meet USG regulations and standards.


  • Experience in creating, updating, administering, and maintaining customized knowledge management systems. 
  • Familiar with Drupal and Microsoft Access systems. 
  • Five years or more of experience and familiarity with common connectivity issues faced in developing countries with overseas experience.
  • Excellent communications, time-management, and team-playing skills.
  • Must be familiar with and experienced in different knowledge management systems.
